The Master's in Finance, Accounting, and Taxation lasts 3 semesters in full-time study and 3–6 semesters in part-time study.
Required:
- a first-degree qualification in the fields of business administration, economics, or management with a scope of at least 210 ECTS
- degree from a state or state-recognized university
- final grade at least "Satisfactory"
Those who completed their bachelor's with the grade "Sufficient" (up to 4.0) can still be admitted to a master's or MBA program if:
- the bachelor's degree (grade 3.5 – 4.0) is from a state or state-recognized university and
- relevant study credits from a master's/MBA at a state or state-recognized university, matching the desired master's/MBA program, of at least 30 ECTS points are available or
- a relevant completed master's/MBA from a state or state-recognized university is available
or
- relevant transferable non-higher education qualifications such as further education at level DQR7 or – for foreign qualifications such as Postgraduate Diplomas – equivalent to level DQR7, matching the desired master's/MBA program, of at least 30 ECTS points are available
Foreign applicants also demonstrate their knowledge of German, for example, via TestDaF, DSH, Telc, or ÖSD.

How flexible is the standard study period in the distance learning course Finance, Accounting, and Taxation?

- In the full-time program, the standard study period is 3 semesters or 18 months. You can extend the standard study period by up to 2 semesters or 12 months at no additional cost.
