Sports Business Management, Master of Arts

Admission requirements

Requirement for participation: Participants must have completed at least a six-semester degree programme focused on business administration or sports management at a university, university of applied sciences, or dual university, or be able to prove a comparable degree from a German or foreign institution of higher education. Degrees from accredited bachelor's programmes at vocational academies are considered equivalent to bachelor's degrees. Alternatively, a completed first degree and proof of relevant industry-related additional qualifications and professional experience.

Furthermore, they can provide proof of 30 ECTS credits from economics courses completed during their first degree. If not, they can still enrol in this master's programme by completing appropriate bridging courses, i.e. taking additional modules or courses. Additionally, they must be able to demonstrate at least a three-month internship or professional experience in a sports organisation or a business enterprise related to sports.

Details

To become a manager with the dual Master's degree programme: Through the vocational training combined with the Master's studies, students expand both their professional experience and their expertise. After completing the dual Master's degree, students have the necessary qualification to take on leadership positions in the sports industry.
