Admission Requirements
The following admission requirements apply to the Dual Bachelor's degree in Business Administration - Accounting & Controlling (B.A.):
- General qualification for university entrance (Abitur) - entitles to study at universities and equivalent institutions.
- Subject-specific higher education entrance qualification - entitles to study relevant subjects.
- University of Applied Sciences entrance qualification - entitles to study at universities of applied sciences and at many universities offering dual degree programs.
- Master Craftsman's examination or equivalent advanced training according to § 56 (6) of the North Rhine-Westphalia University Act, e.g. business specialist, certified business manager, state-certified technician.
- Professional qualification with at least two years of relevant vocational training and three years of professional experience (precise admission examination required).
In addition, you need a practical partner (company) where you will complete the mandatory practical part (20 working hours per week). IU supports the search for a practical partner.

- The application should be submitted no later than one month before the start of the studies.
- Studies can start in the summer or winter semester.
- Admission is subject to the submission of complete application documents and a successful selection process at the practical partner.
