The school is part of the French Grande école tradition and is supported by the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce.

ESCP offers a wide range of programs, including bachelor's, master's, MBA, and doctoral programs, as well as executive education. Annually, over 10,000 participants from more than 135 nations study at the school. Their programs are accredited internationally by bodies like AACSB, EQUIS, and EFMD. The selective admissions process and international focus make ESCP a leading institution in management education.

The Berlin campus of ESCP, a state-recognized site with the right to award doctoral degrees, focuses on sustainability, entrepreneurship, and digitalization. Here, students can pursue a Doctor of Economics degree (Dr. rer. pol.).

The study programs have a strong international focus. The Bachelor in Management (BSc) includes study years in three different countries.
