The Bachelor's program in Learning Psychology and Learning Coaching (B.A.) is conducted as a distance learning course and can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis, as well as in a dual study variant, also in full-time and part-time.
In the course portfolio of the Euro-FH, the program expands the offering with a Bachelor's program at the interface between psychology and education. Students acquire knowledge and skills in the theories and methods in the field of education, psychological foundations, as well as developmental, general, and educational psychology. In addition to the basic studies, the focus is on imparting (digital) methodological skills and research methodological expertise. A deeper reflection and application of the study content takes place within the framework of a practical phase. This culminates in the independent planning, implementation, and evaluation of their own learning coaching project.
In addition to the use of study booklets, four seminars (optionally in-person or virtual), two online seminars, a webinar, as well as various digital teaching and learning units (e.g. instructional videos, online tutorials) are planned.
The target groups of the program are professionals who already have a relevant professional training (educators or special education teachers) and who want to gain access to more demanding tasks, placements in higher pay groups, and further career opportunities through academic advancement. In addition, individuals without pedagogical training and education are addressed, who want to work or are already working in the field of institutional, non-institutional, voluntary, or corporate educational work. Finally, the program is also aimed at individuals returning to the teaching profession who seek to refresh, expand, and, if necessary, focus their didactic and methodological skills.
For prospective students who aim for an even closer integration of theory and practice and can demonstrate a suitable practical company along with corporate supervision in the admission process, the Euro-FH offers a dual variant of the program. This enables a direct integration of the scientific knowledge, skills, and professional practical competencies learned in the study (theory) with the practical professional activity (practice).
