Admission requirements

Details
The main goal of the degree program is to provide students with both traditional values and practices of the public sector and forward-looking approaches for sustainable change. They should be able to analyze and understand complex challenges in the global, national, and regional context in order to develop proposals for the proactive design of a sustainable public sector. In addition, public enterprises and organizations focusing on the public sector are discussed.
For this purpose, students acquire basic knowledge in public administration, law, economics, and communication science. They also gain in-depth insights into the ecological conditions of public institutions as well as user-centered and information-technological concepts for shaping public services. Students learn how strategies of public institutions influence social coexistence and ecological, social, and economic development.
One focus of the degree program is on imparting practical skills such as project management, change management, and innovation management, as well as personal skills such as communication techniques. There are opportunities for specialization in various focus areas directly related to current topics in public management or adjacent areas in the public sector.
Upon completion of the degree program, graduates have access to cross-sectional functions in the public sector, such as strategy and organizational development, project management, and sustainability management in ministries, authorities, administrative departments at various levels, as well as in public enterprises, associations, and consulting companies focusing on the public sector.
The Euro-FH is accredited by the Accreditation Council, valid from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2032. The evaluation panel praises the quality of the studies, the innovative curriculum, and the close collaboration with companies and other universities. The degree program covers a wide range of competencies and places particular emphasis on the scientific nature of the content.
