Admission requirements

You already hold a first university degree in economics with at least 180 ECTS. If you have a first university degree in a non-economic subject, you can start the master’s programme after completing the eight-month «Kompaktstudium Management». This provides you with the economic fundamentals required for the master’s programme.

You also have relevant professional experience and English skills at level B2 of the Cambridge Certificate. If you have not taken a test, you can also demonstrate your English skills in a telephone interview with the programme director.

Special admission requirements for access to the preparatory service for teaching at vocational schools:

A joint admission statute with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Baden-Württemberg has been enacted for admission to this master’s programme. This regulates the requirements for admission to the master’s programme for applicants who seek lateral entry into the preparatory service for the career path of senior teaching staff at vocational schools in Baden-Württemberg.
