• “Business of Law” and “Law of Digital Business”

In addition to digitalisation and the management of legal and compliance processes, legal questions also arise with regard to new, digital business models. The degree programme takes these two perspectives into account through corresponding learning content embedded in a modern understanding of “digitalisation” beyond the technological dimension.

• Controlling processes and projects

In the dynamic environment of the legal sector, process and project management skills are increasingly coming into the spotlight. During your studies, you will acquire important skills for successful collaboration in interdisciplinary and global teams, particularly with regard to the development and management of legal services as opposed to their provision in the context of the RDG.

• Developing legal advice in context

In addition to fundamental economic sciences competencies, students gain an overview of fee and billing models as well as service contents in the context of digital delivery models and respective professional legal boundaries. The knowledge in these areas enables students to establish content-related links between digital legal products, calculation and billing models, and professional legal boundaries.

• Digitalisation through change management

The introduction and implementation of a digital “mindset” requires an extensive portfolio of leadership, design, communication and planning skills. The curriculum places a special focus here on personnel management, creativity techniques, legal project management and digital wellness.

• Learning and experiencing

Applying legal topics in context, understanding legal advisory processes in practice: theoretical content, already taught in small groups, is further deepened through numerous projects and practical relevance in the courses. A strong network with law firms, corporate legal departments and public institutions helps to establish contacts for further professional development already during the studies.
