These are the requirements for the Master Machine Learning

To be admitted to the part-time Master's programme in Machine Learning at IU International University, you must have obtained a first university degree from a state-recognized or state university, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree. The final grade of your degree should be at least "Satisfactory."
The focus of your undergraduate degree should also be in the field of STEM. If your undergraduate degree does not have a STEM focus, you may still be admitted through a Master's admission test.
For this English-language variant, you must also demonstrate your English proficiency*. You can demonstrate your English proficiency, for example, through a TOEFL (minimum 80 points), IELTS (minimum Level 6), a passed Duolingo English Test (minimum 95 points), a Cambridge certificate (at least grade B overall), or an equivalent qualification.
*If you have already completed an English-language undergraduate degree or if English is your native language, you do not need to provide separate proof.
In addition, you can have prior credits recognized in order to shorten your study time in distance learning and save on tuition fees. For example, credits you have earned in previous Master's programmes can be recognized. Extensive work experience in the field of Machine Learning can also be recognized by the university. It is best to submit your application for recognition along with your application.

This Master's program at IU consists of approximately 16 modules which you will take and complete over 4 semesters of regular study time. Each module is worth 5-10 credit points (ECTS) and concludes with an examination performance such as a term paper or an exam. In total, you will acquire 120 credit points from module to module and from semester to semester.
The typical study plan for the full-time Machine Learning program looks as follows:
- 1st Semester: Programming with Python, Advanced Mathematics, Machine Learning, Advanced Statistics, Deep Learning, Project: Machine Learning Libraries
- 2nd Semester: Advanced Research Methods, Big Data Technologies, Data Modeling and Reporting, Seminar: Sustainability, Ethics, and Law in Machine Learning, Electives A
- 3rd Semester: Electives B, Electives C
- 4th Semester: Master Thesis
What's special about the Master's program in Machine Learning at IU are the numerous opportunities to specialize in subject areas according to your own interests and professional fields in the elective field. Choose from recommended tracks or from a variety of elective modules.
As first specialization (Electives A), you can choose from these exciting modules:
NLP and LLM, Natural Language Processing, Reinforcement Learning, Image Processing and Low Level Vision, Corporate Governance of IT, Compliance, and Law, International IT Law, Data Query Languages, Business Intelligence I, Case Study: Model Engineering, Explainable and Interpretable Machine Learning Models
