In the Master's programme in Computer Science at Hochschule Fresenius, you deepen your knowledge in IT security, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. Course Structure and Organisation: How does the Computer Science degree work?

The Master's in Computer Science is designed as a four-semester full-time course and is taught in English. It comprises 120 ECTS credits. The course combines face-to-face teaching with practice-oriented projects and offers individual specialisation options through elective modules and specialisations in Cyber Security or Artificial Intelligence.

• The course starts in the winter and summer semester; applications are possible all year round
• Lectures take place at the locations Cologne or Berlin
• In the third semester, you can complete an internship in Germany or abroad or choose a semester abroad
• The final semester is reserved for the Master's thesis

The study plan is tightly organised but allows individual focus areas and promotes active networking with companies as well as the application of the latest technologies within practical projects.

Locations: Where do you study Computer Science?

The on-site course takes place at the two campus locations of Hochschule Fresenius in Cologne or Berlin.

• Cologne: The campus is located in the MediaPark in Cologne-Neustadt-Nord, central and with a variety of leisure and gastronomy options nearby. The rooms are modernly equipped and enable diverse event formats.
• Berlin: The Berlin campus is located at Jägerstraße 32 in Berlin-Mitte, just a few steps from Gendarmenmarkt. Here, you benefit from proximity to national as well as international companies and a dynamic start-up scene.

You can change the location during your studies and have the option of planning an internship or a semester abroad in the third semester.

Costs and Financing: What do you need to plan for?

The tuition fees for the Master's in Computer Science amount to 880 euros per month, a total of 21,120 euros for the entire course. Additionally, there is a one-time registration fee of 695 euros. The fees cover all regular study services as well as additional offers from the StudyPLUS programme (e.g. language courses, career services, personal development, networking events).

There are several options for financing your studies:

• You can apply for BAföG, provided you meet the personal requirements.
• Student loans from banks or specialised funding banks (such as the KfW student loan) are possible.
• Performance-based scholarships and corporate scholarships are regularly announced.
• You can receive advice and support with financing at any time from the student advisory service at Hochschule Fresenius.

Within your full-time studies, a part-time job is usually possible, as the schedules are designed accordingly.
