- Training contract with a state-recognised vocational school or academy for speech therapy (vocational training and final examination take place at the training partner, the scientific studies at the FHM)

The dual Speech Therapy degree at FHM lasts 42 months and is divided into trimesters. It combines scientific education at the university with practical vocational training at a state-recognised specialist school or academy for speech therapy. The theoretical phases take place in virtual live classes at FHM and can be attended independently of location. Parallel to this, during the practical phases, you will gain solid practical experience with your training partner. The course starts annually in October.

For the practical part, you conclude a training contract with a state-recognised specialist school or academy for speech therapy. At the Bamberg location, you can complete the course directly in cooperation with partner specialist schools.

Since the programme is organised in a dual format, you usually pay no additional training costs at the cooperating specialist school alongside the university fees.
