The IB University of Applied Sciences is a state-recognized, private university with its headquarters in Berlin and further study centers in Coburg, Hamburg, Cologne, Mannheim, Munich and Stuttgart. As a university of the Internationaler Bund e.V. (IB), it offers degree programs and academic continuing education in health and social sciences. Through various forms of study - full-time, in-service or part-time - it promotes permeability between vocational and higher education and is actively committed to the academization of the health professions. It is characterized by small course sizes, individual support and an optimal combination of theory and practice.

Its forward-looking degree programs in the fields of therapy professions, health education, applied psychology and social work, as well as medical technology and emergency medicine, are created in active dialog with clinics, professional associations and education policy. The high quality of teaching is ensured by a careful selection of professors and lecturers with diverse experience in science and practice. Students also benefit from the excellent cooperation with the IB Medical Academy, which operates around 100 healthcare schools nationwide.

Studies at the IB University of Applied Sciences can be financed through BAföG, student and educational loans, and scholarships. The degrees are state-recognized and meet the requirements for a subsequent master's degree.

The IB University of Applied Sciences is part of the long tradition of the Internationaler Bund e. V. (IB), the independent organization for youth, social and educational work founded in 1949, and is committed to its values.
