Admission requirements
- completed Bachelor's degree program in Prevention and Health Management (B.A.) or Applied Psychology (B.Sc.) at APOLLON University
- completed first degree in a similar field (Public Health/ Health Sciences, Health Psychology, Applied Psychology, etc.) including prior knowledge in statistics
- completed first degree in another health and/or social science-oriented (Bachelor) degree program (e.g. Health Economics, Health Tourism, Nursing Management, Therapy Sciences, Sociology, Social Pedagogy/ Social Work, Psychology, Medicine, etc.) and possibly a preparatory course

The master's program "Public Health (focus on Environment and Health)" at the APOLLON University of Health Care Management lasts 24 months and leads to the degree of "Master of Science". The course is offered on a part-time basis.
The focus of the program is on academic qualification in the healthcare sector with an emphasis on prevention and the reduction of environmental burdens. This interdisciplinary program aims to qualify professionals already working in healthcare. It is particularly aimed at graduates of the bachelor's program in Prevention and Health Management.
Students are enabled to develop and implement preventive interventions independently, both in healthcare and through interdisciplinary collaboration. The program provides broad knowledge and specific expertise in the field of prevention and health promotion, as well as analytical methods to examine and address complex relationships in the healthcare system.
Upon completion of the program, students will have trained analytical thinking, judgment, research practices, and knowledge. The teaching concept is location and time independent, offering various didactic teaching materials such as multimedia-enriched study booklets, audio files, video lectures, textbooks, and online lectures to provide students with maximum flexibility and achieve the qualification goals.
