Admission Requirements
In order to begin a university degree programme at Hochschule Fresenius, applicants must provide proof of the qualification required for study (university entrance qualification). This is demonstrated by:
- general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), which entitles you to study at all universities and in all federal states,
- or the subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, which entitles you to study in the corresponding subject area and in the federal states listed in the certificate,
- or the advanced technical college entrance qualification, which entitles you to study at a university of applied sciences or in a tiered degree programme at a university in the federal states indicated in the certificate.
Alternatively, you can also be admitted without Abitur or advanced technical college entrance qualification. The following is required to study without Abitur:
- You have passed a master craftsman’s examination.
- Or you have a qualification according to the ordinance on access for professionally qualified persons to universities in the state of Hesse, i.e. either a qualification from professional advanced training of at least 400 hours, completion of a technical school or a vocational or administrative academy, or a passed final examination in a state-recognised training occupation with subsequent at least three years of professional experience and passing a separate university entrance examination.
- For foreign qualifications, equivalence must be proven for admission.

The Bachelor’s programme in “Real Estate Management” combines specialised knowledge of the real estate sector and fundamental economic principles with practical experience. The curriculum includes the following modules:
- 1st semester: Fundamentals of Business Administration, Accounting, Introduction to Real Estate Management, Real Estate Life Cycle and Facility Management, Project Management and Presentation Techniques, Civil Law
- 2nd semester: Financial Analysis, Human Resource Management and Leadership, Real Estate Asset Classes, Real Estate Law and Property Management, Academic Research, Statistical Methods
- 3rd semester: Corporate Finance in Real Estate Management, Real Estate Management, Sustainability in Real Estate Management, Business Communication, Fundamentals of Economics, Special Business Law
- 4th semester: International and Intercultural Management, Data Science and Data Analytics, Digital Transformation, Specialisation I Real Estate Marketing
- 5th semester: Business Simulation Game, Practical Project, Business Ethics and Sustainability, Specialisation II Project Development in Real Estate Management
- 6th semester: Innovation and Trends in Real Estate Management, Urban Development, Elective Module, Bachelor Colloquium, Bachelor Thesis
During your studies, you will also deepen your knowledge in 2 exciting specialisations, namely Real Estate Marketing and Project Development in Real Estate Management.
If you wish, you can also integrate a practical semester into your study programme. If you opt for a practical semester, the standard period of study extends to 7 semesters and you will accumulate a total of 210 ECTS credits during your studies.
