The IU International University offers the Master's in Industrial Engineering in 2 variants: the 90-ECTS variant lasts 3 semesters in full-time study, and the 120-ECTS variant takes 4 semesters in full-time study.

For both variants, a first degree from a state-recognized or state university is required, such as a Bachelor's or Master's. Your degree should have at least a grade of "Satisfactory."

Additionally, for the 90-ECTS variant, the following is required:

  • Your first degree should have a focus on Industrial Engineering (Industrial Engineering, Technical Business Administration, Industrial Management, Business Informatics, or Engineering Management).
  • If your first degree is 210 ECTS or more, you can be enrolled in the Master's program in Industrial Engineering immediately.
  • If your first degree is 180 ECTS, you need to take courses of at least 30 ECTS or have at least 1 year of qualified work experience.

For the 120-ECTS variant, the following is required as well:

  • Your first degree should have a focus on Industrial Engineering (Industrial Engineering, Technical Business Administration, Industrial Management, Business Informatics, or Engineering Management).
  • If your first degree does not have the required focus, you must pass a Master's entrance examination. If you pass, you will be enrolled in the Master's in Industrial Engineering.
