The degree programme Responsible Entrepreneurship & Management is aimed at individuals who think entrepreneurially and want to actively shape sustainable change. The main target groups are prospective founders, future managers, as well as professionals from business, sustainability, innovation, or non-profit sectors who want to develop responsible business ideas or transform organisations. The programme is equally suitable for school leavers with a higher education entrance qualification as well as for people with initial work experience who are interested in purpose-driven management tasks in companies, start-ups, or NGOs.
Which formal criteria do you need to meet?
For admission to the Bachelor’s programme at Tomorrow University, you need:
- A certificate of general university entrance qualification (e.g. Abitur) or advanced technical college entrance qualification. Proof is provided by the final certificate; for non-EU qualifications, an equivalence assessment or, if applicable, a separate entrance examination is required.
- English language skills at least at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. A certificate is preferred but will be recognised for native speakers or those who have already completed their studies entirely in English. Other language levels may be tested during the selection process.
- A letter of motivation and participation in a mandatory admission interview, in which motivation, suitability, and potential for the community are assessed.
- Availability for compulsory live sessions, usually in the evening at 6 pm CET. Flexibility in timing, especially with deviations from CET, will be considered individually.
Admission takes place after successful submission of all documents and passing the selection procedure. Further evidence of completed courses or practical experience may be advantageous but is not mandatory.
Personally, you should bring openness to new ways of working, a strong interest in sustainable development, as well as willingness for innovation and change. You are suitable if you can tackle abstract challenges practically, work cooperatively and are eager to engage in an international community. Communication skills, self-motivation, and very good self-organisation are important in this flexible online degree. Previous experience in project management, involvement in social or sustainable initiatives, or initial attempts at founding a business are helpful but not essential. Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary exchange and interest in practice-oriented project work complete your profile.

In the Responsible Entrepreneurship & Management degree programme, you acquire knowledge and skills to develop sustainable business models and responsible leadership approaches. The core study content is focused on the societal and ecological challenges of the future. Within elective modules – the so-called Impact Certificates – you can specialise in areas such as AI for sustainable innovation, climate-related corporate governance, Behavioural Change Design or Mental Health & Wellbeing.
You learn how to make data-driven decisions, use technology responsibly and address societal as well as ecological challenges entrepreneurially. Developing your own competence profile accompanies your studies, enabling you to see your progress in real time and develop targeted skills.
How is the study process and organisation structured?
The Responsible Entrepreneurship & Management Bachelor’s degree at Tomorrow University is designed as a 100% online distance learning programme. The standard study period is 6 semesters (3 years, 180 ECTS). You study either full-time or part-time alongside work and benefit from maximum flexibility through an asynchronous learning system. The learning platform works on desktop and mobile, dividing content into short, on-demand modules (7–30 minutes) – suited to your everyday life.
- Project-based learning: There are no traditional exams. Instead, you work on real projects and challenges from practice.
- Structured weekly schedule: One compulsory live session (90 minutes) per week is part of your curriculum. Optionally, you can participate in additional online events, peer exchange and networking formats.
- Challenges & Impact Certificates: Each learning unit is divided into three-month modules and three-week challenges, which are continuously evaluated.
- Skills tracking & competence profile: You monitor your learning progress with an interactive app and can specifically work on skills.
- Individual specialisation: You organise your study path and the share of elective modules according to your personal goals.

If you need to interrupt or adjust your studies (e.g. due to work or family), this is possible through flexible pause and re-entry options. Completed study achievements can be recognised – up to 50% of ECTS are creditable and shorten the duration of your studies.
