Studying Business and Management
The use of media in the value creation process of companies has become increasingly important. This statement can be made without reservation today; it concerns, in addition to the fields of business administration, marketing communication, advertising, brand management, and PR, newer areas such as signage, advanced internet applications (including social media), as well as the systematic expansion of internal and external communication and collaboration.
However, the media business itself has also become more complex with every technological innovation. Both perspectives will be reflected in the Business School’s study programmes in the future. Their target group: decision-makers who, based on their business administration, media, and management know-how, must make solid assessments of the profitability of media and entrepreneurial contexts.
The objective of the Business School results from its international perspective. As soon as questions of profitability and efficient use of resources arise, companies with international business activities must consider the entirety of their operations. Focusing only on individual markets and highlighting their differences, as is useful for reviewing business models or marketing strategies, would not be sufficient at the Business School.
The content concept of the Business School is further strengthened by the new structural framework conditions of Macromedia University. Teaching benefits from international cooperation opportunities with the members of the Galileo Global Education university network and partner universities of the 5CU Consortium, as well as from the increasing internationalisation of the student body.
Thus, the management education at the Business School at Macromedia University provides the tools for participants with various educational backgrounds and from all parts of the world. Through the Business School, Macromedia has opened itself to the circle of interested parties whose primary focus lies on a solid business administration education combined with sound media expertise.
For all those who want to enter the profession quickly or perhaps have already gained experience abroad, there is now the opportunity to complete the degree in 6 semesters.
