Admission requirements

With your Master's in International Management, you work as a Assistant to or spokesperson for the management or heads of department, for example.

The prerequisite for admission to this degree programme is a successfully completed Bachelor's degree (with a grade of "good" or better) with at least 180 ECTS credits or a comparable academic degree, such as a Diplom degree. In the case of a deviating grade point average, the ability to study can, if necessary, be proven by a separate selection interview.

If the Bachelor's degree programme has not yet been completed in full, 80% of the credit points to be acquired must already have been achieved at the time of application. The outstanding achievements must be completed by the time of enrolment at the latest.

In the previous Bachelor's degree programme, at least 20% of the ECTS points should be allocated to the subject area of economics. Missing ECTS points from the subject area of economics can be proven either by a separate entrance test or by proof of successfully completed commercial vocational training or by at least 18 months of relevant professional activity in business administration.

In addition, you provide evidence of language skills in English at least at level B2 of the Council of Europe Framework of Reference or at an equivalent level.

Study content and specialisations

The International Management degree programme prepares students for a career in global business. They learn business, intercultural and strategic skills to operate successfully in international companies. Internships and exchange programmes offer them the opportunity to gain practical experience. Graduates have good career prospects in multinational companies, international organisations and consulting firms.

Berlin: In Berlin, the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences operates a campus for the Department of Business & Media at Jägerstraße 32, i.e. in Berlin-Mitte directly at the Gendarmenmarkt. Another campus for the Department of Fashion & Design is located in Prenzlauer Berg.
