Admission requirements
The degree programme in Business Psychology admits those who meet one of the following requirements:
• General university entrance qualification (Allgemeine Hochschulreife)
• Advanced technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife)
• Passed master craftsman’s examination
• Intermediate school leaving certificate (at least Realschulabschluss) and a qualified completion of a recognised vocational training of at least 3 years with an average/overall or final grade of 2.5 or better (if these grades are not indicated, the arithmetic mean of the individual subject grades applies)
• Completion of professional advancement training of at least 400 teaching hours, a technical school or a vocational or administrative academy *
• Final examination in a state-recognised apprenticeship occupation with subsequent at least 2 years of relevant professional experience related to the desired degree programme and passing a separate higher education entrance examination *
and:
• Qualified English skills at B2 level (proof by means of corresponding certificates e.g. TOEIC, TOEFL, Cambridge Certificate or similar, or by an aptitude interview with a representative of the university who assesses foreign language skills.)
* according to the regulation on access of professionally qualified persons to universities in the state of Hesse

Business Psychology is a field of applied psychology. It incorporates findings from economics, psychology, social sciences/sociology, education, and marketing. Business psychology sees itself as a link between theory and practice. It combines psychological and business management content and examines the experiences and behaviour of people in and around economic organisations. Business psychology comprises the two main areas of work and organisational psychology as well as market psychology. Well-trained business psychologists develop psychologically founded answers to questions of economics and their impact on people.
The Bachelor's degree programme in “Business Psychology” (B.Sc.) qualifies you as a 7-semester (online) distance learning programme for the broad field of business psychology. It includes tasks in human resources, corporate communication, and workplace health promotion. Furthermore, students are confronted with dealing with strategic business questions, market research, and the diverse aspects of corporate management. The degree programme prepares you, in particular, to assume assistant roles for leadership and management activities and to bring your personality into your profession based on scientific findings.
During your studies, you can also choose your personal, career-oriented focus to deepen your skills further.

Course progression
At DIPLOMA University, you have the opportunity to study the Bachelor's degree programme in Business Psychology as an online programme.
The online distance learning programme at DIPLOMA University is designed according to the “blended learning” principle. This means you work through the study content using study booklets and attend live online seminars. These usually take place on 12 to 14 Saturdays per semester – in individual cases also on weekday evenings. You can take your exams online or at an examination centre of your choice.
Costs & Registration
The (online) distance learning programme at DIPLOMA University starts every year in the summer semester (April) and winter semester (October). The start of your studies is – after individual review – also possible at any other time.
