It is especially addressed to practitioners who have already gained some professional experience and want to acquire targeted competencies for higher management tasks in companies, organisations or administrative institutions. By choosing two specialisations from 18 options, individual career goals and industry interests can be deepened, for example in the fields of consulting, digital marketing, human resource management, or strategic controlling.
What are the formal admission requirements?
To be admitted to the Master’s in Business Administration (M.A.) you must meet the following criteria:
- Completed initial degree (e.g. Bachelor, Diploma, Magister) with at least 210 ECTS credits
- Proof of significant professional experience (usually at least 1 year of relevant work experience after the initial degree)
- Desired English skills to manage English-language specialist literature and modules
Applicants without a first higher education degree may, under certain conditions, participate via the Euro-FH Master introductory programme. A numerus clausus (NC) is not applied.
You should have good analytical thinking skills and an interest in business-related issues. Important personal prerequisites also include determination, willingness to learn and organisational skills – especially in the context of a part-time distance learning programme. Ideally, you already have some experience in an economic environment or in (project) management. Strong communication skills, self-motivation and the ability to work in a structured and independent way will help you successfully master the demanding modules, group work and seminar phases.
